Question folks:
I had my local dealer install the Borla exhaust on the 8. I noticed that the installation of this is all true bolt-on and no welding involved. What happens when you see moisture dripping from where it connects? I tried tightening it up last night but it wasn't even loose, when I warmed up the car this morning it was still dripping. Don't the "sleeves" expand in heat to prevent this from happening? Any suggestions on a DIY- fix? Or should I take it to my local muff shop and have them weld it? Should I even be concerned with the moisture?
As always, thank you for your suggestions.

did the guys re-use the donut gasket? if you're seeing water dripping from the tail pipe, it's normal. means your car is running the way it should be. cars are supposed to convert exhaust gases to water.

Yeah, they did .. but the water is not dripping from the tail pipe...it's coming from the pipe where it connects to the muffler.

Do you hear any noise coming from there? I had a leak in my exhaust coming from that location and it dripped also. But the leak was large enough that the sound coming from it under WOT would wake the dead. I had to have the OEM pipe bent downwards a bit and then the fit was fine and no more leaks, no more noise.

No that you mention it... I do hear a small rattle when I'm approching a corner and down shifting to 2nd, then a little on the pedal....hmmm.. I think I'll take it back.
Thanks again !

He doesn't have the RB. He's got the Borla and they don't come with the gasket.
