I was lucky enough to come across a great deal on a set of HRE 545 wheels. I fell in love with these rims from the moment I first saw them. Here they are installed on my RX-8.

The specs for these rims are:
Front - 19x8.5
Rear - 19x9.5

I also ordered some Toyo T1R tires (#) from Wheelautohaus that should arrive sometime next week. The size of the tires will be 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. The current tires are Hankook Ventus K-104's. Very nice rims, and they look great on ur white 8. Look heavy tho. Sorry to ask, but im wondering why lots of rx8 owners are buying staggered rims when they fu*k up the car's balance? Dont get me wrong, i do like how staggered looks, but i would never get it instead of wider rims all around.

Those parking garage pictures are cool. The black rims give it an evil look. Now I just need to see a white 8 with some bronze or gold rims.

I don't have the nads to put 30's or 35's on mine....
The streets here suck and I'm sure I'd tear up the wheels or underside in short order.
What's next for your 8?

I already changed the tires to some Toyos (245/35 and 275/30) which are a bit bigger than the ones I had on previously.

Next for my 8 will most likely be the RP high flow cat (I already ordered a Simota CF Intake, waiting on shipping).

Offsets are 45 for front, 55 for rear. I haven't had any sort of rubbing yet and I'm lowered on Tien S tech springs.

Im also lowered on S-Techs, they are fantastic wheels. Do you notice much difference with the loss of unsprung weight?

not a big fan of white but I have to say that the wheels class it up a bit.
