How to turn on DSC light

In order to turn off the traction control off, the DSC button has to be pressed for 5sec. But is there anyway it can be turned on without having to shut car off then back on?

No. And I think it's more like 8 seconds...but whatever. When you hold the button down, the ECU thinks there's a problem w/ the system, so shuts it off. Restarting is the only way to, uh, re-start DSC/TCS.

Your subject says, 'How to turn on DSC light." If you want to see the DSC light you need to find a nice icy or wet patch of road or a vacant parking lot and have a little fun. You'll see the light.
