From what has been said about the mirror and in the Autocar article about the wheel arch gap I'm starting to wonder whether these new cars are 'Full' UK spec. Or if there is still an amount of taking Japanese spec cars and retro fitting European components.

Mazda has always said the UK sport suspension will fix the wheelarch gap issues, but the Autocar tester still had this problem.

And I believe auto dimming and homelink have always been on the spec sheet for the UK car. so why didn't the test car have it?
(However I do understand that Mazda's 'get out of any promises' clause on the contract does entitle them to spec changes without compensation though)

I believe when we see these 'UK Spec.' cars in Manchester on the weekend some of these questions will be answered.

Comments?

I thought that the UK spec cars that are up in Manchester are for the press launch next week ?

If so, the current batch of reviews can't be from the uk car.

Or is next weeks launch in Manchester something else (Dealer viewing ?)

Must have missed something, what is happening in Manchester over the week-end?

I would have thought as the Uk cars dont start production until the 28th July what we have in the UK is slightly varied J SPEC cars.

Like the blue one doing the rounds at the moment.

If I'm correct, I read somewhere that the "press cars" are either pre-production or Japanese production spec.

I seem to recall them being "FULL pre-prod".

There are no UK spec cars until ours arrive.

It's the dealer launch in Manchester.
Some lucky few can see the cars, as they are being stored over the weekend in Stockport.

Aren't the German cars that were at Rimini the same specification as the UK cars (I don't know)?
