Howdy y'all.

I've finally got some pictures of my '8 with it's MS kit and stripes. I know most people hate them, but I don't! The car looked wrong to me when it was stripeless.

... and before someone says it, I'm fully aware I'm not driving a Mustang. :rolleyes:

yep, don't like it one bit.

very nice, i dont like stripes but your car looks nice, it is a little dificult to see with the stripe and the shadows. Grete Job!

I really like the stripe on the front. But i think the rear looks strange with it.

hmm i actually don't like it as much as i thought i would...but perhaps 2 strips down the middle instead of 3 would've looked better? but overalll it's pretty sweet looking :)

If you're into stripes, you should try a better colour to match the car. Somthing closer to the Tit. grey. Black or Dark grey maybe???

It takes guts to go against popular opinion.......and you did just that, and spent money to boot. I personally like it. I dont think I'll do that mod myself.....but its refreshing to see someone do something a little different other then the safe mods like "clear corners" or "painted calipers". You took a gamble, and win or lose, you get my praise.........

I like that he took the gamble and actually spent some time thinking about it. Most would have just gone with a single stripe, or a single color. The outline looks nice, and it's interesting how it wraps all the way 'round the wing.

Whoever installed it did a nice job. I can see that job being a lot worse if the person intalling it didn't have a steady hand.

I think it doesn't look bad at all... although I agree... black would have been better. Nice job on doing something different.

nice! I think it would have looked better with two seperate racing strips. That's how i have mine built (exactly like yours, but with 2 strips) in need for speed most wanted.

It makes my eyes draw to the stripes and not the car itself. I like to see the car when I look at it............Kinda distracting to me.

They did a good job though.

Looks good man. Like the spoiler too. Don't let anybody with a bad attitude tell you differently. It takes balls to post pictures and leave them subject to others opinion. I'm gonna leave it stock, I think. I hate the look of the rear foglight - much rather have my rotary-shaped one!

Why, thank you very much. The stripes came with the car when I bought it (sans kit), but I've had them completely re-done after the kit was put on. They've been done much better than the last ones were!

As for the wing, I was 50-50 about getting it striped too - then I remembered that I own Forza Motorsport on the XBox. Which has a car designer:

If you ever think about getting graphics of some kind on your car, Forza (or something similar) is a great way of finding out how it's gonna look! (Except for that weird yellow colour - that's not there on the screen; my camera seems to have pulled it out of nowhere.

Looks better than I thought but all in all it looks very... "American" which may be a good or bad thing depending on you

I think I like it all around. I tend to really dislike the Hondas, Eclipses, et al with the one fat, off-center stripe. Yours look classy. Brings to mind the power and poise of a Dodge Viper, not a bad look at all IMO.

I love Forza as well...lets hook up sometime and I can show you how I made mine look exactly like that little black Borla Import Tuner.

SirChickenHeart is my screenname if your interested. I'm not very good, but there could be some fun had. I recalled seeing a thread where people posted their screennames and made a huge RX8 forum car club. But I have just recently got the game and would be totally over matched with them.

Probably too bold for me personally, but overall, not that bad looking. Cheers for being unique! :)

I didnt like the stripes either until i saw that video. In motion, around the track.. it looks very nice. Im now a big fan :)

Ok so this striped car is starting to grow on me....every time I come back to this post I seem to like it more. I am not sure if it is because the 8 looks like a race car and the stripes seem to go with that or if it is cause the 8 is so awesome looking anyway, no matter what you do it still looks great.

It seems like everyone is talking about the stripes, they are a bit distracting, but u just cant forget about the car itself as a whole.
