Hey all!

I don't know if many of you ever glace at the Rx7 forum, or not, but there is a very active local group of rotary enthusiasts, and I'd like to express an open invitation to the Rx-8 guys to join us...

We have a pretty much standing meeting Every Wedesday evening around 8pm at a placed called Cafe RPM in Ivring. www.caferpm.com

The turnout varies by night, but we generally have anywhere from 5 to 15 or 20 Rx-7s of various generations gather to shoot the breeze and get some decent food provided to us by Scott & his wife, the owners of the cafe. It's a cafe with an import racing theme that's BYOB if you're concerned

We'd love to see some of the new Rx-8s come join us, and more importantly to hear the thoughts and opinions from the new owners themselves.

There is also a local message board (although, not much traffic) where the "offical" DFW Rx7 club monthly gatherings, autocrosses and other events are posted at http://www.dfw-rx7.com/

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask! We'd love to gain a new range of enthusiasts..

Boowana gave us the pleasure of drooling over his car and even taking us for a ride last night.. I can't thank him enough!

The turnout wasn't stellar because of the threat of rain, but we still had some of each generation Rx7, a couple Proteges, (one being a turbo MP3) and a few misc other people.

As I said, the invite is open... We'd love to see more of you guys, and maybe even get you involved in some of our events...

A few of us RX-8 Owners are going to meet up with the RX-7 at the RPM Cafe http://www.caferpm.com/Group this Wednesday, August 6th at 7:30PM.

It will be a chance for us to meet as well and get to know each other. Why not come out this Wednsday? Hope to see you there.
