View Full Version : My Latest Pics
Moostafa29 11-29-2005, 02:50 PM Here are my newest pictures. I didn't wash her, because it was about to rain here in the Bay Area. The gauge pod was custom made by rkostolni, thanks Ryan. I will take better pics once the weather clears up, and I am able to wash her, and clean up the engine bay a little. The cord on the left is from the interceptor. I have been too lazy to drill another hole to the interior.

XDEEDUBBX 11-29-2005, 03:04 PM LOOKS good dude! you gonna paint the cluster? or what color is it?
RX8MAN04 11-29-2005, 03:09 PM looks nice ! which body kit is that
Moostafa29 11-29-2005, 03:31 PM LOOKS good dude! you gonna paint the cluster? or what color is it?
The gauge cluster was painted to match the dash, but I have put a lot of gloss and protectant on mine, so it didn't match correct. No fault of the maker, since he did it from the color on his dash.
Thanks for all the compliments so far.
Raptor2k 11-29-2005, 03:51 PM Beautiful, Moostafa....I'd like to know what bodykit that is, too

Moostafa29 11-29-2005, 04:16 PM Beautiful, Moostafa....I'd like to know what bodykit that is, too
Its the INGS+1. I have been planning to paint the rest of the rear, to match the body color, but have been to preoccupied with other things to get that done. Maybe at the end of the year.
XDEEDUBBX 11-29-2005, 04:16 PM thats a ings body kit...
I LOVE it - if the rims didn't have the polished lip, it'd look more to my tastes. Still, beautiful car :)
BlueEyes 11-29-2005, 04:57 PM What's with all the extra wire coiled up?
Looks good.
moRotorMotor 11-29-2005, 05:03 PM What's with all the extra wire coiled up?

It looks like the cable that is hooked up to his Interceptor.
IZoomZoomI 11-29-2005, 05:04 PM looks good bro, looks like you finally got some navi now too LOL.
Post better pics of the front so we can see the intercooler with the ings bumper. Too bad I wish I had time to drive by and check it out more. Did you do the tuning yet?
Attention mazda no mods at all my a** lol :cwm27:
NoTears316 11-29-2005, 05:06 PM Looks good!
BlueEyes 11-29-2005, 05:08 PM It looks like the cable that is hooked up to his Interceptor.
Yeah, he says that in his post. I just wonder why he didn't get a shorter cord, or make a shorter cord.
IZoomZoomI 11-29-2005, 05:12 PM I think this is so the cord can reach to the cockpit for in car tuning.
Moostafa29 11-29-2005, 05:14 PM It looks like the cable that is hooked up to his Interceptor.
It is. I never ran the emanage, so I don't have the 1 inch hole for this to pass through. I just haven't got around to doing that yet. I'll probably do it sometime this weekend.

NgoRX8 11-29-2005, 05:43 PM Very nice Moostafa. You've been busy since sevenstock.
adrian-1 11-29-2005, 06:36 PM Looks good. Are those wheels 18's?
Do you know the width/offset also?
mikeb 11-29-2005, 06:42 PM very nice man
love the custom interior
brothervoodoo 11-29-2005, 07:02 PM whoa... I have to come by and check that out some time.. the gauge cluster is insane in the membrane..
Moostafa29 11-29-2005, 07:14 PM Looks good. Are those wheels 18's?
Do you know the width/offset also?
Yeah they are the 18 in models. Width is 8.5in, offset is 45. For now I have the stock wheels on, but that needs to change soon, as I have no traction with the added power. I loose grip just punching second. Again, thanks for all the compliments everyone.
lesper4 11-29-2005, 08:07 PM what size rims are those Hiros?
blksf8 11-29-2005, 08:20 PM yo Mike, nice ride. now you need to change out the stock front strut tower brace. you going greddy, MS, or other?
Moostafa29 11-29-2005, 09:12 PM It will probably be awhile, but when I do, it will be the MS, unless something looks better by that time. I need to get the one in the rear too.
TxRx8 11-29-2005, 09:24 PM Looks good bud, what fogs are those? Think you can post a pic with 'em turned on?
P.s. Any chance on you getting a new wing on there? :D
ECHO1 11-29-2005, 10:57 PM one of the better looking kits on a car that's very well put together. nice job with your ride!

They are PIAA 1100X. Here is an older pic of them turned on. One of the connectors had come loose on the way to sevenstock, and the other I just decided to pull so I can connect it a little better. So right now, either are fuctional. My plans were to do it today, but since its raining, that didn't work out.

terrypk1 11-30-2005, 03:45 AM i envy your car to the point that i must STEAL IT. WHERE DO YOU LIVE. LOL.
Moostafa29 11-30-2005, 08:05 AM I live in Metropolis...
I think I'm going to stick with the OEM spoiler for now. I think anything else would just kinda mess up the look I have going. Only additional things I plan on doing to the exterior is painting the rest of the rear bumper titanium gray, and getting the seibon hood that mikeb has, and having that painted titanium gray. Other than that, I think I'm done.
Jedi54 11-30-2005, 02:16 PM Moostafa,
The Force is strong in your car...
The car looks awesome!
Moostafa29 12-01-2005, 08:02 AM Thank you master!
cleoent 12-01-2005, 11:48 AM the car is hot man, very tastefully done!
Only thing i think looks out of place is the alcantra finished gauge pod... Which on its own is a beauty, but it should be piano black IMO.
crimson-rain 12-01-2005, 12:56 PM man moostafa29, your 8 is one of the best out there.
Now give me some of dat beer dang nab it!!!!
Xyntax 12-01-2005, 01:13 PM WOW! You've gone a long way from the rest of us Mike. Sweet 8!
lourx8 12-01-2005, 11:56 PM BOOYAKASHAAA!!! Sweet ride bro. I dont know where to mount my gauges for the Turbo, how much did they charge you for that custom pod and what size gauges are those?
tiggerlee 12-02-2005, 12:29 AM Looks sweeeet Moostafa! I really like what you've done so far.
Rotor Kreuzer 12-02-2005, 01:02 AM Dude, that INGS+1 kit looks dang good on your 8! Now I want one too!!

PM rkostolni if you are intersted in the gauge pod. He is the designer.

Painting the rear bumper will give it a more finished look.
That is one of the nicest front ends I have seen. Very nice.
For the engine does a person have to leave the airbox tray?
Moostafa29 12-02-2005, 01:15 PM If you remove the airbox tray, the airinx will be sucking in a lot of hot air from the radiator. I'm actually thinking about putting the entire air box back on, so I can go stealth, and put my engine cover back on.
RotaryManiac 12-13-2005, 03:34 PM Very nice car moostafa. Not overly done. idk if i like the painted rear shrouds tho.
Moostafa29 12-13-2005, 09:10 PM Very nice car moostafa. Not overly done. idk if i like the painted rear shrouds tho.
I'm going to paint the entire rear. Its been about 8-9 months since I've been saying that, but I've been caught up in other projects. Probably next year sometime.
BigOLundh 12-13-2005, 09:15 PM I like how you mounted the electronics in the glove box... very nice.

Yeah, everything else is exposed, so I thought I would go stealth with those two.
allmotorRX8 12-14-2005, 10:22 PM the gauges look nice, so does the rest of your ride
kevin e peavy sr. 12-14-2005, 10:26 PM Very Nice
Moostafa29 12-15-2005, 08:03 PM Thanks!
I really like what you have done with your car. What is the name of this piece? Where did you get it at?
Moostafa29 12-16-2005, 11:24 AM That is the INGS rear flare. It completely replaces the OEM "shroud", which just pops off. I got it from thew at Mazdaparts. I normally get all my stuff there.
Takumi39 01-31-2006, 12:45 AM How much did INGS kit cost you? I must have it..... seriously. I'm enthralled with that kit.
rx8wannahave 01-31-2006, 07:51 AM Did I tell you already? Nice 8 you have there...nice pic's!
Moostafa29 01-31-2006, 11:08 AM How much did INGS kit cost you? I must have it..... seriously. I'm enthralled with that kit.
Haha, thanks! It was a year and some ago that I ordered it, but I think it was about $2300+customs shipping+paint. I think after it was all done, it was around $3.5k. Again this was a year ago. Oh, and don't forget the 3-4 month wait. You definitely have to have patience if you want to go that route. I think there are some available in the states now, but I'm not sure.
DARK R3 05-05-2009, 02:45 PM The paint on the body kit doesnt seem to match. To the trained eye its pretty noticable. Anyone else pickup on this?
alfy28 05-05-2009, 03:28 PM I wonder how Moose EVo 10 looks like right now. knowing him, its most likely look sick :)
Jedi54 05-05-2009, 03:32 PM The paint on the body kit doesnt seem to match. To the trained eye its pretty noticable. Anyone else pickup on this?
nice 3 year thread ressurection.
Maybe the paint on his new Evo is more to your standards.
Nemesis8 05-05-2009, 05:28 PM Yes - painted kits are not sprayed on aluminum - that is the problem.
Back from the past... haha
Ever Hernandez 05-05-2009, 06:00 PM I like that front, might consider it now that I can see it in TG.
