Anyone from Dayton or Cincinnati area? I go to the University of Dayton School of Law and am wondering if anyone lives around here and would like to link up and discuss mods and stuff for RX-8s.

You guys have a lot of money, driving 8's in University (man I WISH I had a nice car back when I was in school). Especially paying all that tuition, good thing you got the scholarship! I love Cincinnati, you are one lucky 19 year old!

Hope you young guys treat the 8 with some respect. A kid at work has one too. Makes 9.00/ hour and lives at home. His rear tires are bald from playing games. Drives it to work in bad weather too. I treat the baby well and I make quite a bit more than him:) Would like to meet with other owners but an old fart compared with most of you, a whoping 47 here.

Sorry I haven't responded in a while, I thought I subscribed with a e-mail alert apparently I didn't. I don't know of anything going on around here in the way of car shows or anything but if any of you have heard let me know.
I do treat my baby great. She is more pampered than I am.
I am game any time this week to meet up with anyone. We are on a working break for law school and I acutally have free time. I would like to see some mods and discuss future ideas.
I have a titanium RX with a factory spoiler, tint and a borla sticker for those looking out for me.

Maybe you can help me out. I'm trying to piece together in my head what I actually bought. It's a 2005 8 Velocity Red. I'm pretty sure it's the Touring package. I believe it has every option except power leather seats. It came with the sport package, Bose 6 disc cd changer power moon roof and so on. In the manual book, in the glove box, there is a window sticker for a 2004 Brilliant Black RX-8 Grand Touring. I have every option on the sticker but Leather seats, 8 way power driver seat and no heated seats. So like I said I think I just have the Touring right? It's a sweet ride for sure.

Anyway, I'm saving up for some new wheels. I'm thinking of one of these 3.......

Hmm, those are tough, what kind of wheel are you looking for though? Lightweight? Looks? Looks like you want black. Or are you open to others?

Where at are you located in Dayton? What mods have you done to the car thus far?

The first wheels are 18x8.5 Helo HE825 Tease. Yeah I like the look of black. I'm looking for something somewhat lightweight, but doesn't have to be the lightest wheel out. It's more for look. I'm not trying to make my car ready for the track. I am open to other suggestions. I won't be purchasing for a little while. I got plenty of time till spring to look for others.

I live just outside of Dayton in Bellbrook. As far as mods I havent done anything yet. I did however order some footwell led's from raotry rasp. I got the last set of red. For body kits I'm thinking of

The VeilSide lip in my opinion looks good... but not feeling the other one!!
