Thank you very much for making my RX-8.
It's closer to perfect than I imagined, very well done!
Thanks for the pre-order program, the book, thermos and coffee cup.
After one week and twenty one hundred miles I really like my RX-8 and have to report that you have made a winner.

How welcome and refreshing this post is. With all the negativity throughout this forum we gotta keep one basic, very important fact foremost in our minds: This is one cool car!

Mazda - I concur.
You have made made an awesome sports car. The styling is perfect, the suspension is superb without jarring my kidneys, the handling is incredible, and the power just keeps getting better.
The young and old alike galk at it. I have yet to talk to anyone that is indifferent to its styling. The interior resembles the BMW in quality.
The wait was worth it. Hats off to the RENESIS engineers who did not give up on their dream, as the rotary engine made this sports car possible.

Here, Here! I'll second that emotion (in red)! I love my RX-8, I love to drive my RX-8, it looks good inside and out, it drives so sweetly, it gets better every day, and people ALL stare!
Selected comments:
(in a car beside me) - "I bet THAT goes fast?!"
(on a motorcycle) - "WHAT kinda car is THAT?!"
(in a car going the other way) - "YOOWEEE!"
(visitors to my house) - "I think we'll just stay outside and stare at your car!"
(from almost all Miata drivers) - "thumbs up"
(from lots of young guys/girls - I call it the RX8 Salute!) - "heads turn as I approach... heads follow as I pass by"
(mostly from BMWs, Audis; Celicas and Mitsu Spyders) - "The double take"
You gotta love it! Mazda Rocks!

Don't forget the chance to go to invitation only Rev-It-Up day.
The laid-back Friday before the weekend racing is perfect opurtunity to get to know the RX-8 and race the Mazda 6. Normal price is $40+ on the weekend; getting the special invitation only Friday is definitely worth more than that.
So far the RX-8 presale program has been very good for me.

I love the stare I got from an S2000 owner. His jaw dropped. The second most intereting comment came from a Cadilac Escalde owner motioning for me to roll down the window. He asked if the car was electric???? Maybe the turbine like sound??? I don't know??

Some times I just have to go into the garage to sit and look at it.
I emailed Mazda Orders last week thanking them for this car.
