So.... first you ruined it by lowering it rediculously, then you want to further ruin it by taking it through automatic car washes?

Unless you want to send your car's paint to hell, don't use automatic car washes.

I'm serious.

Between the MS side skirts and the AutoEXE springs, the car is too low to put your foot under, let alone a speed bump.

I usually use the spare jack from my wife's old Honda to get the car high enough for the floor jack.

The dealer uses a stack of 1/2" plywood under the tires so that the swing arms on the lift will clear.

Sorry it took me 3 months to reply, i'm really lazy. thats why i use auto wash. i didn't lower it like that on purpose. its set on stock HKS coilover settings, which was perfect when i first had them. even after they settled i was good, could go over bumbs and such. but then i got lower profile tires, Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212. didn't think the profile would make that much difference..... but they did. big difference. this is why i must raise the mo fo back up. good thing the coil overs are adjustable. tires r dope, but they don't last very long. i trashed 50% of the tires in one track day at streets of willow.

if you can afford lowering springs and racing tires then you can afford to pay double or more to get your car washed. And if it really bothers ya you can always do it yourself, seems like you may live in california (racetrack loc i think) so its probably nice out.

dude, my roomate is a detailer for an exotic dealership here in orlando and i wont even take my car there and let those guys wash it. lower your car even more, and NEVER let someone else wash it.
