Everyone has chimed in so much that I doubt I am going to get any views but in case anyone wants to know what a family man, perfectionist-type, non-race car, never-owned a rotary, substandard-manual driver Pediatrician from Atlanta thinks, here we go:

Top Ten Best:
10: The Titanium looks so great next to everyday cars. Take it away from other 8's and new mazdas in a showroom, and it is really breath-taking.

9: The Navigation is getting easier and easier to use every drive and has already helped us on four trips with BETTER directions than we knew.

8: The Rotary is so freakin' quiet and smooth

7: Forget what you heard about slow acceleration. Forget about it! The only dog gear is 1st -- a real slow ass dog gear. After that you can comfortably go 50 in 2nd gear! It pulls you along begging you to go over 5000rpm everytime you hit the gas. Boxster-like acceleration

6: Also has Boxster (better than 350Z) handeling. Nice tight, easy to grip wheel. Great controls and two-tone.

5: $3900 for the GT package . . . hmmm, the leather seats alone are worth over 2 grand to me. They are ridiculous. Better tham BMW M quality. The red leather is sick, the black is tough. The faux door trim looks so real and is perfectly matched. It smells great, feels great, and has all this reinforced and extra-stiched areas. The cloth is a nice job, the leather is FREAKIN' AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!

4: Did I mention the leather :)

3: My deal was below MSRP and went off without a hitch. I paid $32,700 for this car out the door. No registration, dealer, prep, title fees. Pay tax on my own in 30days. $400 off MSRP, no fees -- out the door at $32,203 (minus deposit $500, plus GA warranty $3)

2: First time I have ever owned Xenon's. Great. The high beams are great, the fog lights are great. They all look great. Especially the red lights in the back when you have a red interior going on -- HOT.

1: My kid fits in so good it is scary. I swear he has more leg room in his car seat then he does in my H2!!!! I tried driving with him behind me, no prob. When I arrived at his daycare, the sitters were like, "but what about little Nicky, where does he sit?" Bah-boom, open the suicide doors like Wolverine and I say "Get in!!" Even the toddlers inside the daycare came running over to see the car!

Now the Top 10 Worst

10: The space is perfect for 2big adults, parents and 2kids, or 4 small sized adults for a short trip. It is not the perfect everything car . . . but it is not an SUV. The kids fit great in the back, but do not expect Aunt Bessie to sit there as drive up the Pacific Coast.

9: Rattle and gas tank swishes are a bit more than other cars I have owned.

8: I screwed up and did not inspect the car after its 2nd PDI very well. It was night by then, and I didn't see 2 cracks in my headlight :(

7: The AC is not really that great, and it is pretty noisy (more than the tranny or the engine!)

6: The Bose radio is vert whatever. Sound seems to be loaded in the front of the car, but too far in front. The acoustics are off for sure. Sound engineering courses in college only, but the speakers are not optimally directed so the best sound is heard if you sit way up in your seat. It's not terrible, but noticeable for any sound-head, music dude, or techy.

5: The key is too big. The fobs look cheap. The Valet key looks old. Trunk pop works and can be manually turned off -- but I wish it would pop higher up like the Benz' do.

4: It did not get here a week sooner. :)

3: There is some black laquer in the interior that is screaming to be changed out for some aluminum-look pieces.

2: Cup holders and heated seat controls right were your elbow rubs everytime you shift?

1: I really wish they did not cheese out on stuff that was originally thought to be in the car. That's just not cool. I miss most of them. The side mirror lights, the headlight washers, the cd changer, the spare, the key, climate control come to mind.

After my first day I only have two complaints:

1. A/C fan speed jump between 1 and 2 is too much.

2. The Moonroof switch is flat with the roof and therefore dificult to identify by touch. Especially since there are 2 of them for 2 different purposes.

Other than that, nothing but praise. This is a sports car truly like no other.

Evidentally this is because it takes them 5 extra months to add these items to each car. Try moving to the UK if you'd like to prove this concept, we have all those things: eventually...

I thought the same about first gear... until yesterday, when I needed a quick blend into too much traffic! Before you can say 'Holy S**", you're doing 40mph @9000RPM in about 3.2sec.

That's not standing still! At first it may seem a little scary as there is some noise and fuss what with being in 1st AND heading to the rev limiter.... BUT YOU DO GO ZOOM! ZOOM!, then slip into 2nd to head on to 65mph!

TRY IT, YOU'LL :D LOVE :D !

1st is the grunt gear but it preps for the rocketeering. I WILL say that the AC fan is noisy like an E36 BMW. Turn it low and there isn't enough output. Turn it high and hear the fan. Turn it off and hear the HUMMMMMMMMMMMMM !!!!

I paid (w/o trade consideration) 32,549 GT 6M spare. Nav would be great but I had trouble justifying it to myself.
