My dealer just called and my Winning Blue GT 6M won't be in for another three weeks. They did get in a Titanium with the same options that is not taken.

Do I wait or go Titanium?!?!? I have to call him back in 15 minutes...

Err.. it's your car that YOU will have to live with for the next number of years. You're going to let strangers on the Internet pick the colour for you? Get the colour you want. If it's the blue, wait the three weeks. shrug

if you want the blue wait for it. If you just want an rx-8 go for the titanium

My question should have "what would you do?". I'm heading out the door now to go look at it. I saw their yellow one last Friday. Depending on how things go I could be driving an RX-8 home tonight.

I would probably wait till I can get the car EXACTLY the way I wanted it. Even though it is tempting to grab the next avaiable model and end the wait, a car is for long term purposes and it would really sucks if 5 months down the road, you start regretting not waiting for an extra week or so to get the exactly colour that you want.

"I" would get what I wanted...

Go down and check out the Titanium, if you like it, get it. If you are still unsure, pass it up..

next question....

In the past, I've always made compromises on cars. This time, I'm getting EXACTLY what I want; I'll be happier with it in the long term, even though I have to wait longer.

Well, I didn't get it. I saw the Titanium and just didn't care for it. I thought it was not flashy enough. Well, I'm back to waiting for the Winning Blue which I know I'll love.

It just isn't every day when someone calls you up and says "I've got an RX-8 here ready to go with all the options you want. Only thing is that's not the color you want..."
