I plan to install the ms rear today I was wondering if I should just get the hacksaw blade or hacksaw w/ frame? How do I take out the rear rotary accent?

 

The words Hacksaw and RX-8 should never be in the same sentence.

Why not use a powered jigsaw or sawzall?

 

Just the blade won't do you any good - you'll need the frame too. Pretty easy to cut through once you have a cut started...its just starting. As far as the rotary accent - it is just held on with tape. If you can't pry it off with your fingers (which I was able to do - girl upper body strength and all..) heat it up first with a hair dryer and then start prying.

 

for those JUST joining in, she already finished the install, and she DID only use the blade... some brilliant bladework i tell ya :p
