Exclamation Just got the new flash and its running terrible.

Well ill start off by saying that i have a 2004 rx8 with a greddy turbo kit and a few other mods. Well the car was running great and i took it in to get a few recalls done and a new flash for the computer (the knewest one since a week ago). Well when i got it back from the dealership it was just running terrible, it was chugging all the time and just ran very badly . I called greddy and they said that they didn't know what was wrong with it, and i called the dealership and they said that they didn't know what was wrong with it. When on the throttle it runs pretty good but when your holding it at a constant speed in most of the rpm range then it just chugs and its just really bad its not undrivable but it just runs awful. The guy at Greddy said that i might have a blown catalytic converter. But then i called the dealership and said that they would have seen that when they were messing with the computer. Ive already went and made sure that they didn't unplug the emanage when flashing it and they said that the flash shouldn't affect the emanage at all.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Yea, I would suggest going to a decent tuner and having him look at it. Unless you know what you're doing, do some reading and try to remap the emanage.

I actually heard the newer flashes cause emanage problems b/c the emanage was set to run on M flash. I personally have the r flash, and am in the process of installing the greddy kit, so if i experience similar problems to you then I bet we can confirm the ecu flashes mess with emanage.
