Just watched the video ms rx8 did real well, clock in 108'71 at the time trials only a hundreth slower than the 350z and s2k.

The ms rx8 should've been farther ahead but was slowed by the g35 during most of the corners. Should've easily placed amongst top 3 if it had a better start.

 

Interesting. Both the 8s should've done better.

Oh by the way, IZoomZoomI. I saw your car at ss8, it is lovely. :D

 

the old man always drives the **** out of the S2000. he's good...really good. i bet you if the old man (Gan San) drove the RX8, it would be in 2nd.

 

Don't mean to hijack or post any kills here but the last time I did something stupid on the streets (racing with a Z), our 8 is competitive enough.

The driver tshuya-san (sp?) of the mazdaspeed rx8 is the best suited driver for the rx8 (he clocked the fastest time ever in a rx8 at that track 1'08 and also defeated gan san in the s2000). I doub't gan-san can do much better.

Again the only reason the 8 didn't place as high was because he missed the 1-2 shift in the beginning and fell behind the slower cars (g35 and the shinka) which slowed its pace down by more than second a lap.
