my friend back in NJ / NY won an RX8 from MTV. They had a competition sweepstake drawing for an 8 tricked out like it is in the game JUICED for the Xbox. She entered last june and they just called her tonight to tell her she won! How crazy is that ... she is not to thrilled with the bright green paint job so she will probably end up selling it .. GRR wish I could be that lucky!

Why not just repaint it?

I'd just paint it, the interior is not shown in any of the pics so I would guess it is stock. If they sell it can I have the MS speed rims?

OMG a free track car!

ouch!!! my eyes hurt. but hey it's free...well except for taxes. I entered a charity auction for a new Solstice, $50 for a 1 in 2000 shot. If I don't win, oh well, but it would be nice :)

I just had a thought, have her donate the car to say Rotarygod and lets see what kind of power he can get from it. If it blows up who cares it was free (less the taxes)!!!! Then give me the MS rims

do the stickers come off? I would pay a shop to take off all the stickers, maybe leave one or two in place, and enjoy the car for a while. Of course, that probably would significantly drop resale... but you don't care, it was free, right?

theres probably some deal that she has to at least drive a certain number of miles a year... and keep all the badges and stickers.. and rant about how great xbox and juiced are....

btw.. i've played juiced... it's an okay game.. but for that style of street racing game.. go with need for speed 2 or midnight challenge... even tokyo extreme racer...

only thing cool about juiced is that you can hold your own events.. and win turf to race on... but its not that cool....

Interesting article. I wonder what 8 she will get, the show or the track. It sounds like both were beat on though. My guess is the inside is stock. Sounds like the show car is all stock and the track car has the Mazdaspeed suspension.

that is probably the most horrendous green I have ever seen on a car.

My guess is that these cars have been beat on pretty hard and she's going to be taxed on a value more than a car like that is worth. Ebay here it comes...
