and well, 8.3 liter V10 is kinda hard to beat. I 'sat' in one yesterday at a Dodge dealer. The car is enormous! Very wide wheel base and length. However, I could barely fit inside of it. It has a distinct mean look to it that is very hard to beat. People are stupid to buy them at a dealer though. They were marking them up 10k! From 85k to 95k. If the price was more competetive with the new Z06 it would be the better car. I wonder how much the Z06 is going to go up from 65k?

If you contact someone causing damage you're excluded from competition for the remainder of the event and are placed on probation for a 13 month period. If you're involved in another incident during probation, your liscence is suspended for 13 months. It makes racing ulta boring, because nobody takes any chances.

At the upper echelon of open wheel racing it's not as bad, but club racing and smaller series' are terribly boring and remind me of races where the 13/13 rule is in effect. Everyone is so timid around other cars. I participated in some open wheel racing and was supremely frustrated with the way other people drove because most of them lacked aggression. The ones that didn't were out of control. My 0.02 cents.

Now that you mention it I have heard something like that before. Makes a lot of sense though for people racing priceless vintage cars.

Anyways my point with that was an F1 car would outperform any of those super-exotics by a country mile (regardless of how boring the racing is). :cool:

If something cost that much it better walk a viper. have you seen the new Bugatti in AutoWeek? 0-60 in 2.5 and 250mph in less than 55 seconds. 1.2 million. I would take that 1st. ;)
