Since no one is starting this thread, i guess i have to do the job... again.

The Sepang trip on 1st October has more or less been confirmed and finalised. We do not expect last minute entries as we do not want a large group. Those who are gg, will meet at 2nd link petronas at 630am on the day itself. Will head off at 7am. No latecomers will be entertained, hopefully. Internal grp convoys, pls self-arrange. The list of people gg are:

Most of us, in fact bulk of us, will NOT be tracking. We are just enjoying the drive up there. Bo liao it may seem, but we tink otherwise. We will reach sepang and see some guys track. Last min entries shld be allowed. There are a few who are not staying. These few, including me, will head home from Sepang at our own timing to be decided over there. For those who are staying over, i believe ur accomodation has been settled, so no issue.

Dude... I said I came back in one piece... my 8 had pieces come off...

The under carriage covers, you know the one under the radiator... well when i hit 130km/h the force of the wind would push the board downwards and scrap the road. The right side flap nearly came off... I was lucky I Joe (Blackjack bf) had cable ties for me to hold the car up... And also there was an imperial concepts mechanic was also heading up with us and he fix the car on the spot since we didn't have enough cable ties, he used plastic bags to hold it up coupe07 will post the picture to show you what I mean...

after that I could floor it...ugly but it worked...

Some of us hit the speed cuts on the JDMs... Some 6MT with bigger balls hit 200 over. :cool: I nearly got kill when I some dick weed filtered on to my lane with no signal :mad:, I was at about 172, had to jam the brakes to 110... Whatever swear word avaliable to man came out...

We drove the 8 hard enough .... trust me...

Some even tried their hand at some drifting up at the track, there was an instrcutor avaliable for a quick intro to drifting plus a demo by 3 guys and a lady...

actually if u like nature, gua musang is a very nice place but its not easy to drive to Kelantan coz no highway. it is those 2-way road and some places the road condition not so good can be quite bumpy. the guys wont be able to drive at 200km/h heehee

I just came across this site because I met a group of RX8 owners from Singapore recently in Sepang. It was nice meeting you guys and girls.....the drifting session was fun and I do hope you guys had fun too. The girls rocks......

Really appreciate the help and guidance that your husband gave me and the rest. Have to say it was very interesting and really opened my eyes to lots of things.
The handbrake turn was fun fun fun, just have to change the setup of my car now so that it can perform better. First to start off would be to change the button for the handbrake as i feel that will really help alot.

Can...can drift. They tried one of the auto RX8....can drift but have to pull handbrake only.....next event you join then the pros can show you how.....

chio chio??? i was not the instructor...i was the beginner.. :( ...the only one driving the 4 door car...hahaha.....try lah the next time....since you guys have the right platform of car liao...i was told that the stock standard rx8 very nice and easy to drift..........not like mine... a lot of work before making it a drift car leh...

hey...no problem....anytime. the first thing i learn was the handbrake u-turn and dump clutch u-turn..it's gets quiet frustrating when you can't do it...but practice makes perfect.....once you feel the tail starts to snap out....there's where you start to have fun......

do practice in a safe place whenever you can...... ;)

Can...can drift. They tried one of the auto RX8....can drift but have to pull handbrake only.....next event you join then the pros can show you how.....

No LSD on the Auto. 90 and 180 hand brake turns.... is about the max... plus I got too much weight on in the tail with all my audio toys... also not to mention my tires are too big behind... 265... and tire pressure not to max... my little auto doesn't create enough tourque to kick the tail.

lohsk: hahaha...okay okay...no worries...we will be wetting the surface to make it easier for beginner to learn...basically you learn about counter steering and stuff....basic stuff...no worries lah...as you progress further..then you might need to work on your car liao... ;)
