I saw two 8's over the weekend and one last night. But I can't remember exactly where I saw any of them.
I think the two I saw over the weekend were in the Central West End, around noon or 1 PM on Sunday, one was black and one silver.
Last night I saw titanium gray ...somewhere between my house and my parents which is Ladue/Frontenac.
And someone who I think just moved had a titanium gray 8 and lived on Conway Rd. just went of Lindbergh, and kept the car right in front of the house all the time.

Is that anyone here?

Yesterday, Sept 29th spotted 2 8's within a few feet of each other at 6 PM

Black/Black female driver getting off 170 from the North at Ladue Rd.

Red w/ spoliers going south on 170 in the left lane, from at least as far north as Olive to Hwy 40 then east on Eager.

Blue 8 at Big Bend and 44, I think lives in Apts next to Sams Club

Robertsville, MO (Near Sullivan) yellow RX-8 spotted in its driveway.

By the way, a great drive not far from St. Louis - from Meramec State Park, which is at 44 and 185 (Sullivan Exit on hwy 44) go south about 4 miles to route K, then go east (left) 16 miles to St. Clair, Mo. (from which you can get right back on 44) Its a great drive of banked turns, amazing views of the Meremac River valley, etc. There's probably something closer, but that's where we were on Sunday.

Mmmmm... sounds like fun. Of course if I were to venture out that way my luck I'd get lost and end up in Oklahoma. Oh well, at least I'd be in an 8! :)

I was not far from myfuncar- I was 20 miles down the road in Cuba working on the lake house Sunday. Then we went to St James for some wine.

Spotted two OR maybe the same one twice. Anyway, it was exciting because this was the first time I have ever seen one other then mine period. ;)

Spotted another red 8 on my way to work this morning on I64 west bound around 7:45 this morning about a mile east of the mississippi and bridges.

When are we going to see any of each other? Maybe we should all get "RX8club" stickers or something so we can identify.

Well, I'm the only lightning yellow with a black stripe. You can't mistake me. Come to think of it, I believe I'm the only multi-colored 8 in this area.

Lightning yellow spotted yesterday morning on the Illinois side of I64 west bound in that nice long traffic jam around 7:30 am.

Also, on my way home, spotted a nordic green on Lincoln going from Shiloh to O'Fallon, IL. I was heading into Shiloh.

I've seen quite a few on Scott AFB. There's a couple ppl who drop their kids @ the daycare where my son is that have 8's. I've also seen one coming from a driveway off of Troy-O'Fallon Rd.

Black 8 today about 130pm on Big Bend heading east. Driver stayed 15 ft behind me in next lane ,also when at Kirkwood Rd stoplight. I assume he was admiring my ride :shocking:

Three within about a 20 minute span, not too bad.

I saw a white one in Poplar Bluff, MO on Wednesday late morning. Haven't seen a white one yet, it is very sharp, I'd get one of those next time, but I think I'll be keeping mine forever.

SPOTTED ZONE - Best Buy in Brentwood on Friday afternoon, Nov 25h, about 1:30 PM, saw TWO titanium gray RX8's in the parking lot along with mine (silver). Never seen three together anywhere besides a dealer lot.

That's a perfect gift. I gave it to myself this summer! I just got back from a 1200 mile road trip and there's nothing better than keeping a station from state-to-state.

Yeah I am still alive-but I do not want to see another paint brush for a LONG time. I painted basically every room in the house and the ceilings.

I haven't drove the eight much either and went to start the suker yesterday and the thing was flooded. Had to be towed to bommarito. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Hadn't seen another 8 in a while...saw one yesterday (Sat) early afternoon, silver with a rear spoiler, getting onto Olive west from 270 Northbound. Couldn't see the driver, but I tailed it for about a mile.

I'm always commuting into the city with my Winning Blue from Fairview Heights. See alot of 8s on the way there and back. Usually silver and grey.

-Blue with appearance package, painted pinstripes (maybe the only pin striped 8 in the area?), and Illinois plates

Black RX 8 spotten yesterday. (sat 2/25) I think it was turning onto Olive West at 270. Driver was a young guy and he had a look at my RX.

That could have been me. I'm a young guy with a black 8 in stl, but I don't think I got on olive west. Did it have a RB spoiler? If so that was me. I usually do have looks at other 8's I see.

I have dark brown hair. Yeah I live in Ballwin and work off Olive, so i'm all over the West County. I'd say it was me, and I definitely remember seeing a silver 8 stopped at a light, probably you. Glad to see someone else nearby. I just got mine a month and a half ago.

Spotted a black RX8 last night, about 8:45 PM getting off of Highway 40 at Ballas Road.

Spotted a red 8 yesterday at Green Pines Elementary.

So, it's Sunday and I am at the office. I head out to lunch and I see these guys putting cones all over our parking lot. When I came back, I saw some other folks unloading go carts. Then an hour later, I start hearing this revving noise following by rubber squealing noise. I go to the window and there is this red RX making it happen through the cones :icon_tup: Further looking reveals a red, silver, and black RX in the lot and this isn't counting my black RX.

I guess I need to go down and investigate......

Whoever was driving this red Rx was doing quite well through the cones.....

No, I didn't go play. It was the Boeing Sports car club and I am not a member. I haven't investigated yet because on Monday I flew to Philly for a meeting. It looks as though they were well organized and followed safety guidelines like helments and the securing of loose gear.

I am going to check them out when I return to St. Louis.

Silver 8 with black rims on Sulpher Springs a few days ago

Yellow 8 with black stripe and silver pinstriping in Maryland Heights. Oh wait, that was me in the parking lot at work. Silly me! Surprisingly, I haven't been seeing any lately, even with all of the nice weather.

Well my 8 will most likely be in Champaign, IL this weekend at a race instead of tooling around the St. Louis area. I gotta get some seat time in before it gets too far into the season. Maybe we can get some other 8's out there to do some "representin', yo". (as the ricers would say it)

Today was an rx8 spotting day.
First I saw a black one going east bound on I-64 between Caseyville and Fairview at 6 pm today.

Then at the same time there was a velocity red one that we passed west bound on I-64 at the same spot.

Finally got to Destiny Church in St. Louis and there was a yellow one in the parking lot.
I didn't drive my rx8 on this trip because it's going into a car show tomorrow and I had just washed it. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

One Velocity Red headed towards SWIC on Greenmount at 7:26 pm.
Then on my way home at about 9ish I saw a grey one at the light of Lebanon and Greenmount.

I have a grey RX-8 and drive West/East on I-64 daily. I live in Swansea IL. I sometimes spot a red RX-8 driving home, around 4:30 to 5:00 PM.

Spotted several yesterday - female driving a clean black 8 on 141 and a purple shinka parked near ted drewe's, oh and all the 8's I saw when i stopped by the dealer. I went to buy touchup paint and the guy just gave me some! A nice dealer, imagine that.

Spotted several: Waterlogged, Modena, Terretsboy, Fisherdn, and Starsky123 at Gateway at the autocross. Had a great time (meaning fun.... my lap time was not as good....but still fun!!).

Hey Kicker24, I believe that was me on the 9th. I was coming home from a float trip down on the Black River. Probably close to 5pm or so I think it was. Nice to know I've finally been spotted outside of my own town in Illinois. Woohoo!!!

I saw a red 8 circling my building (the one with J.Bucks at Corodelet and Hanley) in Clayton at about 1:35 today. Had the rotary acccent package.

Oh and one sunlight silver downtown that had blingy rims and dark tint at 11:40.

I was in the area today but was parked by 1:35. Actually ended up at the Dorchester.

Spotted terretsboy tonight on 44 - Damn you drive fast! I was nervous just keepin up with you, too many cops for me to drive that fast. You must not have had as many tickets as I have, or you have more balls or somethin. It was fun to cruise a little faster than normal though. Your car looked good!

Spotted fisherdn. Yeah I have the passport 8500. I highly recomend it especially being young and in a fast car, those damn cops will get us everytime. I haven't had a ticket or even pulled over and I've had my 8 for a year now (its our aniversary, I was thinking about taking her out to a nice car wash tonight). It is a must.

I also spotted a blue 8 with a spoiler and fender strakes at laclede and big bend heading towards clayton this morning at 8:40. I waved :wavey: , but I don't know if you saw me through the tint. :sadwavey:

Holy RX8 spotting :batman:! I was heading out to the casino and I saw 4 8's. One heading south on 270 at 6:30ish (Red) and 3 more going north (one Yellow with ... uh... interesting skull and flame stickers :gotrice: and asian driver, one blue with what I think were aftermarket rims and an older driver, and one Red)

Unfortunately I was doing about 80 in a honduh civic (gas is getting to f**king expensive and its a 50 mile round trip out there) and it doesn't exactly stop or steer as well as the 8 so due to a rare moment of caution I didn't wave.

Saw one today. Silver, looked like an Auto. HW70 West at HW 79 Exit then all the way to Mexico to Knaust Rd. Whoever that is must live close.

Spotted two this morning.

- At about 8am, a red 8 heading east on I-70, just east of 270.
- At about 9am, a silver 8 with rear spoiler and no tint heading east on I-70, east of St. Peters.

The red was me on 70. Actually I usually see you about once a week on 70 on the way to work.

I thought that might have been you, but I didn't catch the plate. Well, it was a pleasure passing by. Had to drop the 8 off at Bommarito. Last week it was in at Auffenberg for the check engine light. Ended up that was due to a bad seal on the gas cap. Took them two days to figure that out. Then, when I got it back, the airbag light won't quit flashing. When I turn on the car, it flashes then stays on permanently. I'm tired of dealing with Auffenberg, who refused to give me a rental car which is part of the warranty, so giving Bommarito a chance. So far so good.

I was just at Bommarito yesterday and they were great.

Bommarito gave me a brand new Cadillac CTS as a loaner, can't complain.

WTF!? They give me Ford Escorts and other pieces of crap like that.

I had a choice between a Rio and an Aveo. LOL

there's a hot female that drives a white rx8. I've seen her about 3 times. She parks her car at some house on Lebannon st. in downtown shiloh, and I saw her an intersection in bell-vegas on 161/lebannon.

It would appear that O'Fallon MO has become the official home of the RX8. If you want to see one (or many) on any given day just come on out. All colors, all options. So many it would apprear that Bommarito was having a buy one get one free sale. Up until last week I thought I held the honor of being the only black...then I met my twin at a red light at K&N. Perhaps this would be a starting place for a local chapter of RX8club.com and give the Chicago group a run for the money :ylsuper:

We should make this a monthly thing. Like the 1st of every month at hooters or showme's in fairview. Parking is free and the lot is small enough that we can find one another in the parking lot before we go in and get a table.

We need EVERYONE in the area to show up. We're dragging behind the other car clubs around. The damn subaru team meets every thursday.

Yea guys the car was fine. I had some food poisoning so I pulled over to help them paint the lines on the highway. I puked my guts out on the highway and at home. After that I felt great.

Was in St. Louis on Monday the 25th on a business trip and parked next to a VR 8 with appearance package. It was in the parking lot of a building that was part Fireman's Fund and part Boeing. Not sure of the address, but it was in Earth City, kitty-corner to a gas station with a McDonalds and a Residence Inn.

I was totally lost and it ended not being the building I was supposed to be in, but hey, I thought I'd say Hi!

Yesterday was Shinka day apparently. I spotted a purple one, or whatever the correct name is, and a white one. I thought the purple was Chico at first, but it definitely wasn't.

We went to Bommarito in St. Peters. The reprogrammed the PCM and replaced the spark plugs. I can't believe the difference in the car. It seems to have much more power. They cleaned it inside and out, plus filled the almost empty tank. I was happy with the service.

How many miles do you have on your car? I'm at about 17,500 and I didn't notice any difference after the reflash. I am wondering if you had more buildup in your engine. Do you redline it every once in a while to clean out carbon buildup?

Cool. Thats where I will be dropping mine of tomorrow morning. I've always had great service there too. I'm at 11,000 miles now. Since its in there, I'll have them do a diff and tranny fluid change also.

Got mine back. Engine good. Cat good. Didnt need new plugs either. Flashed and on my way.

I usually see a Titanium Gray RX-8 parked at the Memorial Station Metro Link. I also drive a Ti-gray 8. Recently had some body work done, thanks to a rear bumper accident.

Every single day I ride the Metro-Stank downtown and see this Ti Grey RX-8 parked backwards in the $2 a day lot just south of 40. It looks good. WHO ARE YOU???????

To me their "Fair" means KBB fair condition price NOT a fair price for what the car is really worth.

"Fair Trade in Value" on my loaded 04 w/ 7k miles is $16795.00 THEN in the fine print they can take off even more value for equipment failure, body damage, reconditioning cost........
