overinflated tires
overinflated tires
Is there anything wrong with running on overinflated tires during regular driving? I put my stock tires up to 40psi before a track day and have been lazy taking the air out...

In the time it took you to make this post you could have taken out that extra air :D
But a day or two @ 40 will not be a big deal, but it's not a good thing to do for long. I find it hard to understand being that lazy. You mean that after your last run of the day you drive right off the track and head home? Most the people I know have a ton of crap back in the paddock to pack up and other things to do before they leave. The few minutes it takes to let out some air is not a big deal.

Just write yourself a note to let out some air before to leave the lot.
