Will anyone purchasing an RX-8 (in Calgary) in the near future be coming along to the next RX-7 meet? I'd love to see one of these beside my '7.

I just picked up my RX-8 in Lethbridge this morning (see separate thread by me). When is the next RX-7 meet?

He's actually posted that info in this forum already, in this thread (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6335). Unfortunately, the day of the meet is the weekend when we'll just be returning from our 2 week road trip to the Monterey Historic Races in California (via RX-8, of course! ;)), so I won't be able to make that meet. :(

Not a problem. I'm sure there'll be several different meets before the summer ends.

Had to take my Protege5 into Kramer Mazda today for regular maintenance. As I enter the parking lot, a lot guy was parking a titanium RX-8.

I know this sounds weird... but it's the first time I've ever seen an RX-8 moving (apart from TV... and TV doesn't do the car justice). HOLY CRAP!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!!!

There's something about Mazda's RX cars that a photo just cannot capture. A 3rd gen RX-7 is infinately more stunning in real life than in a photograph!

I hope I see more 8's on the road!
