yup...my mom and i were on her bed talking...and my cat freaked over a teddy bear and took it out on my eyeball. Thankfully--i got my eye closed just in time so now i hve a strach on my eye lid, under my eye, next to my eye ect....it hurts like hell....stupid cat.

I thought my eye ball got cut for sure. But no strachs no redness no nothing. Just knock on wood there isn't a tiny little mark that i cant see that will cause me to go blind...but due to the no irritation in the eye itself or redness, i do believe i am in the clear.

Moral of the story--my cat is a moron and my eye ball hurts

Infact i got owned by a little chihuahua today, got 3 nice bite marks on my fingers and hands. Dont ever yell at a chihuahua when he pee's indoors. Sheesh!

Dang, sorry to hear about your eye ball...but thank GOD you did not get your actual eye ball cut. Cat's have all sorts of junk in their claws and that's the last place you want them to scratch.

Make sure you take care of the cut and if there is ANY sign of it getting worse go the the doctor. Cut's are funny...crazy...animals, but the last thing you want is for them to scratch you.

I hope you are putting some neosporin on that (despite the fact that it is under your lid). Cats nails are full of cat poo. I have had a corneal ulceration. More painful than broken fingers IMO.

On a serious note, my wife got bit by a cat and got "gat scratch fever" it is a real thing, and she ended up on IV antibiotics.

Your lucky. My puppy ran up to me many times and her claws were out in sharp fury. Luckily I was able to deflect her attack with a chudo kick to the neck.
