What Lot?

I think the lots are numbered by preference. If preferred Lot 1 is not open or available then lot 2, etc...

someone said something like "across from best buy" I'm sure i'll figure that out when the time comes, best buy's are easy to spot

OK... After speaking with ChrisM, we have pin-pointed what is what and where the meet will be held on the map. Basically, find the big-arse Best Buy and then look for the dozen or so 8's. Hope this new updated map helps. Me, coming from out of state(s) feels comfortable that I got it on lock, so the rest of you should have it too.

Just wondering, what are you guys going to be doing there? I havent been to one of the rx8 meets before, and im coming with my father as well, so i want to know what you guys have done in the past at such meets because i dont want my dad to get bored :p, even though i know its hard to get bored with a dozen other cars that look as good as ours.

Do they usually last for 2 hours?

some meets can be significantly longer....we hand out....discuss.....check other mods.....some do installs.....depends on the moment....i know for myself personally i will be showing off another new mod if it actually arrives in time......

Have a baby niece's one yr birthday party to attend. Will swing by if not too late. How about a RX-8 meet on autox day? This way, you guys still get to talk shop, but also witness some real actions instead of ricers flying by =D The next one is 10/16 at Giant Stadium!

Yeah, all the better you are there early if get lost! :) I am heading up to Queens tomorrow late afternoon around 4PM. Even with the rush hr. traffic around here I should be in NY no later than midnight Friday. I will prolly roll out from Queens around 1PM so expect a call around 2PM if I am lost. If not, keep an eye out for the FireTrucks chasing the Flaming 8.

Well, It looks like I will not be going up after all. My friend in Queens has a huge loft but no bed, couch, sheets, pillows, etc... He let me know this today. I called a few hotels and at $100+ per night it just is not worth it. My family in PA has things going on this weekend too, so it seems as if this is an omen that I really am not meant to go up north. :(

you dont have to stay in newark.....there are some in carlstadt and east rutherford right by giants stadium that are in the high 80's to 90's like hampton inn and holiday inn

just looked at there site and its a place I pass by everyday.its across from a minimall and longhorne restaurant.
the holiday inn 200 ft away from there is the cleanest hotel around its where the canadian family that went to rotorfest with us stayed at and they loved the area.they parked there 2 fd's with no problems and they are looking foward to coming back next year.
let me know if you decide to stay there you can ride with us we. have 3-4 rx8 leaving from my house around 1:30 I live near the HoJo
