Sevenstock Caravan for the people near LA/OC Border!!
Some of us are planning to meet at the Cerritos Mall, the huge parking lot off of South Street Exit (At the lovely Cerritos Auto Square). If you are coming from the north, make the Left when you exit South Street. If you are coming from the south, make a right. The huge parking lot in front of the Macy's parking lot area. This should be sufficiently big enough for whoever wants to caravan down.
I offered this idea for anyone that is new to meets, or just people that want to drive on down together. I heard from some previous owners that they felt awkward at their first meet since they don't know too many people... and since this is the BIGGEST meet for So Cal, I didn't want people to feel left out.
So once again, Macy's parking lot (near the back, so it should be open)... and if people need to gas up, we'll drive on down to a local Gas station to fill up. (Btw, there's a Mobil at Mazda RnD so don't worry about not being able to get gas there).

Oct. 8th, 2005 Saturday. We're meeting around 7:30am... leave !!Promptly!! at 8am. Should arrive there around 8:30am. Plenty of time to get spots and whatnots. I still don't know the exact schedule of events.. but if it's anything like the last few Sevenstock Event, this is good enough time. If you plan on parking in the main lot for the car show thingy... this "should" be enough time to get down there as well. Not sure what time the other caravan peoples are coming, maybe we can coordinate it so that we all drive down in one huge group.
So keep on checking here for the exact Time we meet and drive off.
And if I didn't stress this enough, this is THE meet to go to for any Rotary enthusiasts.

i like this idea...i might have to meet up with you guys...but i was thinking about leaving much earlier than that to beat the line and get better parking. Last year i ended up parking in the back =( ....don't want that to happen again...maybe earlier?

Bryan, did you get there before the lines of cars started going in?
I was on the street facing the Mazda HQ, made a right around the block, another right, another right, then headed towards the HQ. Somehow I was fortunate to park in the MAIN lot in front.
If you came after the lines of cars started going in, then maybe it was too late. I'll have to see what the schedule is for this year... when they are letting people into the parking area. If it's around 9am, we should be fine getting there around 8:30am. Some people in front of the line got there around 5am... that's just crazy.
