Just my daily gripe session...

Following is the list of lame excuses I've recently had the displeasure of hearing from MNAO:

7/11: Your car has been released from port in Jax, FL. You should receive it shortly.
7/12:(waited paitently)
7/13:(waited paitently)
7/14: "We can't tell you exactly when it will arrive, but it will be very soon."
7/15: same as above
7/16:(waited paitently)
7/17:Your car is still at port, but we don't have an updated ETA yet. "Please call back in a couple of days, and maybe we'll have more information". (that would be Saturday when they're closed)
7/18: "Sir your car is at port in Jacksonville, and that's the first time I've heard of any problem with loading the cars with appearence packages on delivery trucks ha ha ha. Check back Monday."
7/19:(waited paitently)
7/20:(waited paitently)
Today: 9:30 AM "Sir, give me your name and # and i will look into this"......no call back
4:45 PM I called back: "Sir the port may be waitinfg for a spoiler or something like that to put on your car...you have that appearance package right?"

Amazing series of phone calls, man.

I believe every minute detail.

I have had so much bad luck that I just pray this is not the next obstacle I have to go through.

I was sure though, that no matter what ANYBODY told me, that ANY PORT OPTION could potentially slow down a delivery (even a stupid cargo net if they have to wait for one). So, I refuse to add anything more on to this my original order. I want the rotary accent, net, maybe the spare, the MD, and the appearance -- But I rather get my car and then look for aftermarket equip. (cheaper, faster)

Mine has a release date of 07.22.03. I was at my dealer today to take a test drive (Joy) as they received 3 today. One of which was released today from port JAX. I'm hoping that mine comes in tomorrow. BTW, I have the app pack, wing, and rotary acc.

9:30 AM
"your car has been released from port and should arrive soon"

are you sure?

"yes, my computer shows that it is in transit to your dealer. Please contact your dealer to arrange for delivery"

celebration began.......then I called the dealer.

I got thr typical runaround B.S.

3:30 PM out of pure suspicion and distrust I called MNAO again....
"No sir, your car is still at the port in Jacksonville"

Whatttt!!! Why!!! Who the!!! what the hell is going on with this company? Why is one person telling me thet my car is on it's way and you are telling me it's still at the port?????

"sir, all I can tell you is that the cars go through extensive inspection, and that is what may be holding yours up."

Why is my dealer receiving cars when I ordered mine BEFORE my dealer or anyone else in my area?

"blah blah blah blah, more b.s......"

anyway, there's always tomorrow...

WOW!!! I can't believe it.. I think I must have spoken with the same person at MNAO today, as I had the same exact experience as you. To top it off, I got the "should be any day now" statement from the dealer.

yeah, what a kick in the balls!!!

Nothing against these reps, but who ever is feeding them the info. is a total F@%!ing idiot!
