sell the car to your mom. have her put it on her insurance as a second car with her as primary driver and you as a secondary driver/ occasional driver. wait until your 25 then you'll be fine. :)

If my insurance was that high, I think I would investigate public transport. That is highway robbery. But then again, being 19 years old, it is about 95% probable that an accident is in his future.

In NJ it's 30! Many friends there, it's a nasty place for insurance!

in that case get a po box in philly or deleware and get insurance there:D

My Dad lives just over the bridge in Jersey, he's 73 with a '99 Passat sedan and never had a ticket or license. He's had a policy with Allstate since 1977...

Here in Saskatchewan, insurance is government run. There is no difference between a punk 16 year old kid and a 70 year old granny as far as our insurance is concerned. For the basic package that includes collision, injury and property damage, my RX-7 runs $550 CDN per year. :p

If I owned a FD, my insurance would be about $1300 per year.
