i'm lookin at the same wheels for my BB 8. i wanna ge the 18x8.5, but they only have them in a +35 offset, a little too protruding for my taste. post some pics if you do end up getting them, i'd love to see them on someone's 8.

Black always looks funny on silver...it contrasts to much I think...kinda looks a little "unfinished"...and I also don't think those rims go with the car either...but it's yours...so have at it...

I have a black front cover on my silver and it makes it stand out from other silver RX8s. At first, I wasn't thrilled about it, but now it does add a nice touch and contrast to the silver.

With those wheels (get 19 inches if you can), I think it would make it real cool.

What I am trying to find is a set of wheels like that but in RED!!!!

With the two tone red/black interior, I think that would be sweet.

James

yeah so $1400 is a little steep for that. I just got Volk LE37T in gloss black on my silver 8 and they were just over $3000 with tires but they are Volks. And weigh 17 lbs a wheel. Ill post pics sometime. They look simply amazing. And im not saying that because its my car. But they also took 3 months from japan, thats the downside

umm I got them from RandD motorsports i think. Every Volk dealer gets the same price on their wheels cuz they all come from Mackin Industries. So Just find the wheels u want and ask like 5 places for prices cuz they all get the same price so just get them to compete for the sale. I got the wheels for like $2200 with centercaps which was very cheep. The tires i bought on my own but anyway they are 18x8.5 and 9.5. If u have the money to spend Volks are the way to go they really "sent my car over the top" as my friend said. And they are light. Cant go wrong with a name brand like that. Once again ill get the pics up next week when I get back from the Olympic Training Center.
