Where can I get a set of Kumho SPT's in the LA area?

Try TireRack for a price quote, then call America's Tires. I got my KUHMO SPT's 245/40/18 from them for the TireRack price. $133/tire + $10 to mount and balance.

PM me if you want more info.

Your PM box is full.

I tried to respond to your second PM, but it's full.

Here's you go.

You won't find those tires in that size, on anyone's website yet.
I called Kuhmo directly, found out that they were available, and was told by Kuhmo to call any of their sellers (TireRack or America's Tires or anyone else), and that they could have them delivered to them.
It's actually pretty common to have tires special ordered, especially odd sizes.

If you call the closest America's tires, tell them that you know someone who bought these a month ago at America's tires at Ontario Mills, and paid $133 per tire, they will probably honor that price.
Also, let them know that Kuhmo just released these tires in this size about 2 months ago, and they said you can contact retail stores directly for delivery.

Thanks, Ceasr!
I'm looking for the same SPT tire in 245/40-18. I'll definitely stop by the American Tires at Ontario Mills.
Good information!!!

I just ordered the SPT in 245/40/18 at America's Tires in Pasadena. They did the price match with Tirerack.com without any fuss. Thank god. JustTires couldn't even find a pair in this size, and wouldn't price match tirerack.com prices. Never going back there again.

I ordered the SPTs in 245/40/18 at America's Tires. I had to hassel with them about tireracks price but I got them down to $620 out the door. I'm getting them installed on friday.
