Can any of you guys that are lucky enough to have got your car help us out here??

There has been some debate on the European Forum regarding the rear of the car and the fact that photos seem to make it look higher than it is in the flesh.

Can anyone who has a picture of the rear of their car, and feels it looks as in the flesh, post it here??

Thanks from all of us.

Cheers

How's this? I have had this car 1 week now. 600 miles on it. Here are the negative things I find about it: 0

I am getting 21.5 miles per gallon on last fill up. Miles would go up except for the stops you have to make to show all the lookers. Cold AC. No excessive heat in car.

photos do seem to make the booty of 8 higher. I am not a current owner but saw the 8 at a dealership in person and the rear of the car looks low. I couldn't get a feel of the overall proportions of the car until I saw it myself. The pics can be deceptive.

you can see some rear pics that i posted in this thread:

it looks higher because of the gray plastic part surrounding the exhaust...if it was all body color, it'd look as low as it should...i also think that if you got the Appearance package or namely, the rear mudflaps, you can see how low it really is

good eye. 74 convert. Drove ghias for 15 years, with first new car in the year 2000. Maybe that's why the RX8 is such a joy to drive; it has heat and air.
