The RX-8 projects an image of:

Good taste
Adventurous spirit
Youth (compare to driving a sedan like Volkswagen Passat or Audi A4)
Style
Fun

The image is also affected by the choice of color, of course.

You can't buy class. You can buy pretense, you can buy something expensive and show off your money, but class is demonstated in your actions and attitude in how you deal with everyone you meet.

I've met plenty of wealthy people with no class at all; and many people of moderate means who displayed grace and class in all their actions. I have also met wealthy people who have tons of class- but sadly, most of them do not!

If you're not conveying a fleeting image, you may not be driving it correctly.
