"ROCK STAR: INXS" WEDNESDAY PERFORMANCE/ELIMINATION EDITION SOARS TO NEW RATINGS HIGHS FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE WEEK

CBS To Broadcast Special One-Hour Wednesday Editions For the Next Two Weeks

Last night's one-hour performance/elimination edition of ROCK STAR: INXS soared to new highs in viewers and key demographics for the third consecutive week, according to final Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Aug. 31.

ROCK STAR: INXS WEDNESDAY posted its best households (4.2/07), viewers (6.32m), adults 25-54 (3.3/08), and adults 18-49 (2.8/08) ratings for the third consecutive Wednesday and posted its second best adults 18-34 performance (2.0/06, -0.1 behind last week's record setting delivery).

CBS will continue broadcasting one-hour editions of the Wednesday (9:00-10:00 PM) performance/elimination show for the next two weeks, Sept. 7 and Sept. 14. The ROCK STAR: INXS finale will be broadcast on Tuesday, Sept. 20 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).
