After the initial excitement of buying the RX8, I went through a phase the first month where I felt guilty of having such a nice car as this. This is because I don't like feeling "higher status" than most of my friends who can't afford anything even close. I felt like I had to spend more time with them and let them drive my car if they wanted, so I could still be "equal" with them. Any one else with the same experience?

Nope, I am the only one who drives anything under 50K. I always tell them they are a bunch of snobs. But the guy with the SL500 has a pretty car.

NO, I don't feel like that at all. I love the car and the feeling of driving it. I worked hard to earn it and will continue to enjoy it.
Yea what they said, this car is a blast and very affordable. Live it up.

Nope, I got this car because I love to drive (as long as it's not in bumper to bumper traffic or behind an asshat) and because this car does not look like something for a HS kid with a good price.
