Hi guys..I have been reading the boards for weeks now. which is where I came up with my decison on the Racing Beat exhaust..I have installed the exhaust and it seems my gas consumption is excessive.. I clean my tips out...and not long after they r black once again..Is this normal???

 

yup very normal...
all our cars run rich... thus the black soot on our exhausts
plus you have to break in your exhaust. you dont have to drive ne differently, but just burn off those chemicals and what not in the exhaust. (that nasty smell you get)

oh and about ur poor gasmileage...
i dont remember getting that much poorer gas mileage, but it may be because your revving it a lil bit higher now since u have the exhaust haha
