Hi guys,

Sorry, I dont have my manual with me, so cant look it up. But I noticed that theres this yellow/orange exclamation sign thats always on when the car is running?

Anyone know what that means?

Thanx and soz if its a stupid question.

It depends...

If it has the symbol around it that looks like the cross-section of a tire, then your pressure monitoring system is seeing a problem

If it has a symbol around it that look like drum brakes (go figure) then your brake fluid level is low

If it has a symbol around the ! that looks like a steering wheel, than you have a power steering malfunction.

Or, of course, everything is working normally & the sensor is acting up.

Sounds like we have our first documented problem here !

Shouldn't that have been picked up during the dealer prep?

ok, I just checked my tires. dealer did a bad job.
they actually pumped 50psi on to each tire! gee.. need to release the air pressure rite away. everything is back to normal now.

Yup, same thing here. The Tire Pressure warning light and buzzer came on today after half an hour at highway speeds. After the tires cooled, I measured the pressure at 45 psi each! Brought them back down to the spec'ed 32, drove the car a bit, and the light finally went out.

Cars are shipped with artificially high tire pressures, and part of the PDI process is to let them down to the specified pressure.

The tire pressure light was on when I left the dealer today -- they didn't seem too concerned. Just checked the pressure--over 50. Couldn't believe it. Thank God I'm trying to show some respect for the car during break in and not testing it's roadholding limits! First thing in the a.m. I'm dropping the p.s.i. to 32. Thanks for the info.

check the psi again in the morning when the tires have been sitting and have had a chance to cool to make sure you didn't let too much out.

32? Ok, I'll let a tad more out.

I checked my tires cool and 3 of them were at 40psi and 1 at 35psi, I let them all bleed to 35psi. I will let a tad more out.

So far, every one that we have received has come in with the high tire pressure, and YES!! it should have been taken care of in the PDI process, we check all of ours here. And for a dealer to not be concerned with a warning light of any magnitude at delivery is just plain stupid!!
