Clicking noise from wheel

I've done a few searches, but couldn't find anything about this. I've got an annoying clicking sound from the driver side wheel(s). It gets louder and faster as I accelerate in a straight line. I'm sure all cars have this. It's probably a rock or something stuck somewhere in the wheels... but where? How can I get rid of this annoyance? Should I remove the wheel? Thanks!

There is a TSB on a clicking sound.

See if it is listed on Tommy's site. If it is not the wheels check for a rock (if all goes well) or a nail/screw in the tire. (if things do not go well)

Wheel Clicking

Your wheel clicking is a known problem. Go to the Rosenthal Mazda link on the homepage of this website, go to service tech bulletins and you`ll find it. Dealer will fix under warranty.

Good luck

Tom

Also is your tire pressure light on? i had a clicking in the rear passenger wheel a while ago, tire pressure was on, finally took to dealership and the sensor had come lose inside the tire. Pretty odd I guess, but maybe it will help ya.

I found out what it was... it was just a hugh stone stuck in the middle of the tire tread, which I thought was a nail... but once I removed it, no more clicking.
