I need advice on polished rims

I will be reduing my polished BBS rims again. I went to a car wash and the detail shop stripped the clear coat very bad. So i want to redue them and possible polish everything and leave no gun metal once ever

i need input

DO i polish them completely

Or polish what is already polished? :D

There's a DIY for making your stock alloy rims look like the polished alloy on the Shinka... maybe that will help?

If the rims are polished with a clear coat make sure you strip off all that old clear coat and then repolish the entire wheel!

The problem with clear coat is that if you dont regularly clean your wheels (i.e. after every time you drive), over time your wheels will begin to show signs of chipping (from road debri) and that can damage the clear coat as well as the finish of the wheel.

Take my advice and this time around dont clear coat the wheel at all, it will only make matters worse.
