Whats up guys this thread is mainly for all those lucky ones with the greddy turbo kit installed..........im at the point where im gonna purchase the kit but would honestly love to know how much of a difference it really is hands on..........i know all you guys post how sick and how much of a different car it is but it would be sick if one of you guys took a nice road trip up to Middletown NJ where i live and show me how differnet is........all i wan't is a nice test drive....you dont have to hit 140 i would just like to see how differnet the car accelerates and pulls...and also how the driveabiltiy changes if any so if any of you guys are interested let me know thanks Billy.......... :D

Here's a proper proposal... (and I'm being serious too, for me)

If anyone around the D/FW area Tx has an FI 8 I'd love to meet you at a public restaurant local to you, buy you dinner, and then ride in your 8 as you tear up your 'benchmark' stretch of asphalt... If you're comfortable with me driving your 8 I'd be much indebted but I also understand that your car is your baby just as my 8 is to me. I.e. if you don't want me to drive it I completely understand and won't bitch.

My 8 only has the RP shifter with a Voodoo magnum **** on it which you are welcome to drive even if you don't let me drive your car provided you show me you have full coverage insurance....

I'll buy you a beer after the drive too if we're enjoying each other's company...

That's how I'd like to be approached if I had a modified ride... and I've used it before to drive a truck with the lift kit i was considering back in the day...

All it does is let you hang out with someone with like interests for a couple of hours... and everyone benefits...

Hell yea, definitely meet up at a cool place fill the dudes stomach chill have a few laughs and Im sure someone would take you for a nice test drive, but they definitely need some incentive and I wouldnt ask to drive the car.

 

i didn't mean to come off like that i would deff. be willing to drive out somewhere and meet up........i just didn't know of anybody local with a boosted 8 so i figured i'd ask if they were willing to take a road trip...........never said anything about driving the car.....everyone needs to relax i didn't mean to start a war....

Then you should've been more careful when making this thread. You sounded like one of those egotistic asses. You never said anything about driving out, but you asked people to drive to where YOU live. You never mentioned anything about paying for their gas money either. People interpreted your thread and bashed at you just because you made it sound like you deserve to be bashed. It is your fault, not ours. So you better put some more thoughts in when posting on the site where not everyone is on top of your head and knows what you are thinking.
