I bought Tein springs. I went ahead and took of the front suspension apart, I installed then new springs in and after I dropped thw car in the ground the freaking car was still stock height...WTF!!!! what do you think I did wrong? Has anybody ever happend this to them??? Any suggestion woujld be very greatfull. Thanks

 

Two things did you tighting the nuts with the car on the ground or in the air?
The car also needs to "settle" check again after a week of driving.

 

I tighted all the nuts in the air. You mean the Upper control arm?

 

On spring changes you need to torque the suspension points with the car on the ground (with a load). Still need to give it a few days to settle by the way.

Ok.. I agree with you all about the springs need to settle. but they dont settle 1.4 inches, you know what I mean?

And as far as tighting the bolts in the air or in the ground? how does that affect the height ?

 

Well your asking why your car doesn't look right when you didn't install the springs correctly. Re-torque the bolts on the ground and try us again in a week

 

and like I said ive seen springs settle .5 but NOT a whole 1.4 inches..

You preload the bushings in the wrong position when its up. Tighten all the upper control bolts with the suspension preloaded, If you do this you'll get the proper heights in the wheelwells. Wait another 1.5k for the full setling to occur (possibly another 0.5inch drop). I did mine and it works.
