ps: do you guys reckon it'll look good if i carbon-ed the roof and change the mirror to carbon ganadors?

definately do the ganador mirrors. i'm not to sure about the two tone affect. two tone is more old school style. either way...the car is hot!

Looks excellent! I'd love to drive an 8 like that along the ring roads in Jakarta. Have you done anything under the hood?

Nice!!! What tires are you running with those rims? Do you have a picture from the back taken close to the groud so its possible to see the width of the wheels straight on.

@genesis:
man its so hard to drive a car this low here... esp where i live... road is so bumpy, gotta be careful or else i'll be hitting the fender walls... =(

for now the only thing changing under the hood is the thing you have in your avatar.. =p

@macius8:
i will take more pictures tomorrow after i got my car back (again). its being debadged as i type this...

I like your choice of spoiler! The MS spoiler looks too ricey, IMO.

Car looks great man, love the no wing look.

If I might ask, what are the ganador mirrors? don't think I have heard of them.

check'em out at mazdaparts

they look like mazdaspeed mirrors, but smaller.

you could make extra money giving people rides all they have to do is sit in the lips of your rims. Me likkey!

I like it man. The kit looks great. I think the mirrors would really enhance it too. I also think the carbon fiber hood could have some potential. Ever consider getting eyelids? It's minor, but it'll make the car appear a bit meaner :)

Hi ray....I can understand your comment about driving in Jak with your modded 8, the back road speed bumps must be hell...you'd have to drop to a slow 2nd...hope you don't get any scrapes on that wonderful 8! Good job with the RS intake...changed your exhaust yet also?

true my fren... sometimes i go 1st gear to go over the speed bumps... luckily the only thing scraping is the exhaust bracket... thats why i have the hks on order, the standard exhaust's tube is too close to the ground...

My stock exhaust used to scrape on occasion when fast driving over tight uneven roads. I changed to the HKS which has lots more clearance....you'll be very happy with that exhaust ;)

so its 19x10.5 +22...? wow...nice...if you dont mind me asking....what size tire your running and how close does the tire/rim get to the spring on the rear...i wanna do 10.5 front and rear but seems to wide...gotta stick to 18x10 if i cant find the correct offset for the 10.5

thanx

yes thats correct... i'm runnin 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 rears... it won't hit the spring on the rear but u will definitely have to do some fender rollings...

dude, dont get 10.5 front, trust me... it will rub like hell...

if u can get an 18x10 by all means get it, with the correct offset it will look awesome...

i'm very happy with it although from what my frens said for road conditions in jakarta, the hks coilovers is better...

but in s'pore roads the tein will be better. they said if the road is smooth the tein shud perform better. that being said, i'm pleased with the teins. bouncing is minimized and when i turn at corners the car is very stable.

i haven't got the edfc yet so can't comment on that...

just went outside and take a look.. u know between the rims and the spring&shock there is a wall rite?

the inside of the rims is well over 7cm from that wall so its pretty safe on the inside, its the outside part that you will have problems when going for my offset...
