OK Gang
These are excuses I'm going to use this week.
1) Its raining somewhere and we don't want to get the cars wet.
2) The transport drivers feel its too hot and want to wait until it cools off.
3) Daylight Savings Time: The one hour time change threw off the computers and they are waiting on new ones.
4) They are waiting for gas prices to go down.
5) Waiting for the Feds to lower the interest rates so you can get a lower rate when you do buy the car.
That ought to get me by for the next 5 days. Hopefully I won't have to come up with any more.
With this post, I'm swearing myself to a vow of silence. I will not be posting anything further until I have some actual news about when the cars are going to be shipped and all my sofar loyal customers can take delivery of their cars. Adios Amigos

Hey Budaman, you have been great for us on this board. At least you provided watches to your people waiting. That was a great gift.

This thread should called "Lack Of Delivery Info".
And I hope you're kidding about the "5 days" part.

hate to admit it but my Annapolis Dealer just took delivery of the car (the only one delivered to the dealership, although that told me they pre-ordered 6), the rep gave the dealer the delivery pitch, and I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. the worst thing is i didn't put down a deposit until May.

WHAT is Mazda thinking???
That is the problem, Mazda is not thinking. of the number of prior loyal Mazda customers Mazda frustrated to the point that they may go elsewhere the next time.

It's just business as usual under the shadow of the big blue oval... no rush on the cars - they'll get here when they get here, or Mazda's saving money by using plate tectonics to slowly bring the cars closer to you at no extra cost. Less transporter milage = more profit margin. ;)
