It's quite torture at this point. Every day I call my dealer and he seems nearly annoyed at my doing so, but dammit.. I WANT MY CAR!

I drove it at ANOTHER dealer (mind you they are within 15 minutes of each other) and one dealer has his cars, and mine doesn't. It's even more irritating because the port that the cars are released from is 20 minutes from either dealer.

Now that I'm working out the details on the leasing with Jas (from this forum, thanks!), finalized that I actually wanted the car over all the others I drove, I'm stuck with waiting every bloody day to get my car HOME.

At any rate, I'm just venting. My dealer doesn't know a damn thing, and the only time he has called me is to take my money and never afterwards. "Hi, you can put a deposit on it now! Come on in!" I give him my $500 and haven't heard a word from him since... it's always me that calls him asking for status updates.

I think I would have been better off buying at the other dealer but unfortunately my luck has been rather dismal lately.. it will come to fruition when I get this car but be sure... it's only because Mazda has a talented group of engineers on their hands.. their car dealers suck terribly and if it was down to it.... I'd not have bought the RX-8 just because of the ignorance I've been given.

did you have port options on yours herc? apparently there is a back up in NJ cause of some of the accessories. My dealer actually canceled all my port options and told me they would install them later free of labor so I could get my car sooner. It might be worth looking into (of course I'm sitting here without my car as well and it certainly isn't helping my productivity)

I had no port options, as the only thing I wanted was the rotary accents and I figured I'd just buy them outside my dealer and put them on myself.

im sick of waiting aswell, and i dont think theres a thing with port options cause a car just like mine (albeit with all kindsa crap (ie, accents, appearance yada yada) acem before mine and ive only got the nav as anything that would cause extra delay, nav and gt.........thats it...this one had gt and that other stuff but i think no nav...

anyway, i dont mean to say that the accents and appearance package are ugly, i just theink they are excessive and i dont want them on my car, though i thought about ti seriously fora while
