Yeah, there is a bar jabbing me in my back too.

Has anyone had that 22500 mile check up? What do they do? Probably not much IMO.

It maybe the lumbar mechanism. Did you try releasing all the air out of it? Button on side of seat.

i just had mind in for its first service last week, I am following the 'severe use' service and if I rember right, there really isnt much untill the 30k mile service (other than oil changes) i think the 30k service is plugs, trany/diff fluid, eng oil/filter, air filter, and inspect the belts and such

i agree with the one guy - i think the volume and tuning buttons on the steering wheel should switch positions.

They're review has been positive from day one. It will be interesting to see how they write it up when the test concludes.

Yea....except for the guy who said he really didn't like the way the engine sounded?!?!? Whats up with that? But I agree that this series is basically postive and hopefully will remain so.

Thanks for sharing this article

While there may be exceptions to every rule, most people, who own RX8's would agree with all of this, except the radio controls, I like them just the way they are.

I think the radio controls is such a minor detail that it's not worth nitpicking.

Though maybe that's a real compliment when that's all they can find to complain about.

You forgot to campare it to the G35.

It had two sets of rotors and brakes replaced, while the 8 only had pads!

Actually, he said he thought the volume and tuning ***** should switch positions. I agree, but I've gotten used to them where they are. I like the steering wheel controls the way they are.

And I thought it was interesting that the tester who complained that the engine sounds too "whiney" is actually from Cycle World, and drives around on "whiney" inline fours all the time. (This statement came from a different issue than the ones linked.)
