View Full Version : My new X-men Spoiler Gambit 07-06-2005, 06:44 PM I put on my new spoiler about a month ago....but have been lazy about taking and putting up good pics of it....so here's some crappy ones while it's still all dirty Flawless 07-06-2005, 07:26 PM Looks pretty good... did you install install it yourself or have someone do it? formatsee 07-06-2005, 07:27 PM missing a drop and a kit English 07-06-2005, 07:47 PM Hopefully you kept the receipt, so you can take it back. Have fun out there... shakRpahX8 07-06-2005, 09:32 PM How much did it cost you?? I'm considering either that or mazda speed spoiler danke jaguargod 07-06-2005, 09:42 PM Don't like it at all. dazygirl415 07-06-2005, 10:48 PM I think it looks good, but I thought it didn't lay so close to the trunk... or maybe my memory is just on the fritz. Razz1 07-06-2005, 11:52 PM I kinda like it too. Can I see it at Seven Stock? Sure would be nice to see it in person. Gambit 07-07-2005, 09:21 AM missing a drop and a kit Don't got the disposable income for a kit...and if I dropped it I'd probably bottom out on speed bumps. Installed myself, but the template they sent was a little off and I had to measure everything myself I got the one off ebay for like 209 + shipping, prepainted, matches great. Only thing weird is that when I check over my shoulder to change lanes, I see it and think it's a car sometimes NgoRX8 07-07-2005, 11:34 AM Not bad. I use to want this spoiler after X-2. :o Now I want MS, but this wing looks ok on your car. SlowLude 07-07-2005, 11:40 AM Nice... but I still think the X-men spoiler looks better upside-down. Gambit 07-07-2005, 11:46 AM I didn't want the MS because so many other people had it.... Upside down would look almost exactly like my gf's celica spoiler cleoent 07-07-2005, 12:00 PM I like it! RXMAN16 07-07-2005, 02:56 PM Good job on the install. Looks good. charleybull33 07-07-2005, 03:29 PM Nicely done install, not my cup of tea for a spoiler though. To each their own. antiver 07-12-2005, 10:56 PM I love this spoiler and am waiting as patiently as I can to get one (I've wanted one for longer than I've had my car)... Looks great! Congrats! Gambit 07-13-2005, 06:51 AM I have come to the conclusion that it looks better in person than in pictures, because everyone that sees it likes it(even random people), but the response online is about 50/50 JeRKy 8 Owner 07-13-2005, 02:48 PM I think you need to complete the X-MEN kit in order for it to look right. To me, it looks unfinished. Gambit 07-13-2005, 04:03 PM I have that NJ front-liscense-plate problem Mugatu 07-13-2005, 04:14 PM if you were going for the 'upside down spoiler' look, you nailed it. |
