This one is run by Apex Motorsport and it is controlled passing etc. This is the same group I went with back in May and you get lots of driving time, it's fairly informal but well organized and safe.

I am in! Was just at a lapping day event at shannonville july 01. it was great fun. Do we just show up or do I need to contact the event coordinators to reserve a spot?

Wow you are brave, I was somewhat afraid of the "no rules" aspect of the July 1st one. Didn't want to go fender to fender with any track cars etc. This event is controlled passing so nobody is really close to you, I like that . . .

I have attached the registration form. The last one didn't sell out and I was able to show up at the last minute with cash in hand. The number of cars is limited so it could possibly sell out. I sent my form and cheque in because I am keen and don't want to miss out. I also know a few people that are planning to go this time and that should make it even more fun. All Audi and Subaru owners though . . . I still own one of each as winter and family cars so they don't resent me too much for driving an RX-8 ;-)
