I won't get into the story, but some dipshit "got back at me" by putting the gum he was chewing all over my driver side window. He didn't just blot it on...he actually stretched it out all over the friggin window.
So far I've tried hot water, freezing water, ice cubes, and alcohol to get this crap off my window but it's stuck on there pretty damn good.
Any recommendations?
I guess I am somewhat lucky he didn't get any on the paint...and that all he used to attack my car was gum.

Goo Gone. You can find it at the hardware store.

Oils such as peanut oil, and probably any vegetable type oil, break down gum rather well. Try chewing gum and eating a peanut :p. Could very well make the mess worse, however. I'd definately have some soapy water handy if you try it.
I'd gorilla glue his wipers to his windshield, but then I'm mean ;) .

If a razor doesn't work (be careful not to scratch the glass) and goo gone doesn't work try heating the gum up with a blow dryer and then once its gooey again hopefully you can get it off with blade and some soap/water. Good luck with that :(
If I remember from my elementary school days, olive oil was the choice for removing bubble gum from hair... :D That will make a mess of its own but a little soap and water will take care of it, I'd think.
On hard surfaces, you might have some luck using an ice cube to harden the gum, then scrape it off.

Totally agree with this. Fell asleep with gum in my mouth when I was little and it ended up ALL in my hair. My mom coated my head with peanut butter and it all came out with no problem.

You guys brought this one back up? Well I took care of it last week. I got too frustrated over this shit and nothing was working. Didn't even ask how the car wash folks did it. All I know is they were well tipped. It's too bad I bought so many cleaning products or I'd go to them regularly.
