it is becoming impossible to track delivery info on our cars - info is getting posted in multiple threads. I'd like to try to get it more concentrated so we can all figure out what's going on.

Well, I saw my RX-8 today, but it will be about another 1 1/2 hours before it arrives at my dealership. It is in Fort Walton Beach and has to travel to Pensacola.

Received my delivery email on Friday and Saturday. Went to dealer and filled out all paper work Saturday. Picked up today, Monday July 14, about 12:40 P.M.:) :) :) :) :p :p

Correction: other red was not dropped at my dealer, only my RX8, a Miata and a 3rd car came off. That truck COULD be headed to Hagerstown MD - or north up 15 towards PA. don't know.
Mine was bottom, end - first off. other red was top, 2nd from back. Truck was covered sides and front. Took many pics.
Tech revved it to about 4K trying to back it up (Doug) then stalled it. Started right back up - guess he was unable to flood it. His words to the truck driver so I could hear "It's just another car".
I was at the end of a morning run before heading back to the gym and got to watch the driver drive it off the truck. Doug parked it back in right in front of the dealership.
Weirdest thing I noticed so far: wheel weights. One has 16 "5" weights, another 19, another 23, the left rear has none.

Dealer called 8:30 am that he got some non-pre-ordered, and mine should be there around noon. Dealer called around 1:30 PM that car was there. Got to dealer around 5 and was out by 7. Larry Miller Mazda was very good. They were pissed that Mazda did not send to Arizona earlier. The salesman had a tit grey on order and had not gotten his yet.

Most everything has been said, so I won't repeat. The engine compartment does get very hot. The hood support rod has a rubber sleve, use that or you will burn fingers.
