No email, no nothing for me and I know I was on the first boat to dock at NJ. Anyone have any info? I am starting to get antsy here.

My car is also on the first NJ boat. I went in to see my dealer on Friday ( 7/11 ), and my car still shows Wk2 July. However, they did have another RX-8 that shows a date of 7/15 as its delivery.

I still have yet to receive the delivery e-mail.

I'll be calling Mazda after lunch today to find out if my car has been released from port yet... hopefully it has been :0

I called my dealer this morning and found out that mine was released on 7/11 and is due to arrive in Maryland on 7/16. I know it used to show a week 2 delivery. Hope this info helps. I'm sure the only real info that would help you would be a phone call from your dealer. ;)

Speaking of phone calls from my dealer I just got one saying that my car shows released on his status report and that he expects it today. Still no email from Mazda but oh well guess I shouldn't expect one.

Ans ohh yeah the dealer said if any of cars that come in that dont have someones name on it or if its not a preorder they will do test drives. Woo hoo

Browns Mazda Alexandria received 3 of 4 first shipment pre-order RX-8s last night. The fourth one (MINE ) should arrive later this week. The reason is that my RX-8 was the only one in this group with accessories. As soon as they are installed (Roatary Accents/Splash Gurads) it will be on its way!! It still shows delivery of July week 2 on the inventory report. Have not received the delivery email from Mazda, yet.

MazdaUSA stated today in a phone conversation that a specific delivery date was set for me. Thursday the 17th. My dealership is in Wakefield Mass. I was on the first boat and port was Jersey.
No e-mail yet, but my info was updated today at Mazda. On Friday it was "July 14-18th for dealer delivery". Now it reads only the 17th. Looks like this is it boys!!.
My Vin ends in 0936. Ordered in February. No Port options.

No email this weekend or today, only talked to dealer (NH) Friday to say HE had gotten the invoice, but his report still shows 3rd wk July delivery. Also changed order 2 wks ago to include splash guards and rotary appearance items, manager said it was no problem, Mazda reissued the invoice immediately.

Saw the like mine pre-pro at Rev-It-Up in MA last weekend, so sweet, a little worn, CA rep started it and reved it up, nice, dead vibrationless. They all had their engine covers off, engine is way way back against the firewall, almost missed in the engine bay it is so small. Front is way low, a real curb catcher, but looks great!

(fingers) tap tap tapping, sigh.. wait wait waiting sigh. Ordered 1/6/02. :(

My car arrived today. I just happened to drive by my dealer, and look around the lot to see if I saw any. Just as I was leaving, I noticed a silver RX-8 in my rear view mirror turning into the maintenance shop. I drove around to the shop and saw three 8's in there.

I went in to talk to my salesman and he said mine came in today and was going to call me when they finished the PDI. So I will be there at 10am tomorrow to do all the paperwork. ( They were not going to be finished tonight. )

I have not received the delivery e-mail from Mazda.

1st boat to NJ, no accessories, and inventory report showed wk2July

it seems mine will come in later then everyone elses since ive noticed everyone that has gotten their car ordered the car with no accessories. I could be wrong, but thats the way it looks like. If that is the case mine will be maybe next week or later in the week because i ordered many accessories. Hey when it comes it comes :),

After Markh711 reported that His car was at the dealership in Haverhill........I called mine in Wakefield Mass. They said they are expecting a truck tonight after they close (I had no idea they did that). Mazda told me the 17th.....and still no email. My sales guy DID say that "everything is screwed up at the ports". He said he had no idea if my car is on that truck. I tend to think so because I have no port options, have a VIN of 0936, and was on the first boat.

BTW...Mark....did you see how many miles your car had on it today?......cheap insurance that it doesnt go home with someone tonight!!
