this sucks so bad...I'm heart broken. It's as if the people don't have pride for their own car!! There are at least 5 on base and about 6 that are in the local area. I know that some of them has come across this site. If you're here, then please stop lurking!!!

Just wanted you to know that one of the RX8 owners found the web site. I haven't seen very many running the roads in Shreveport-Bossier.

I'm from the Shady Grove area. When I got my Winning Blue Zoom, I had to change my route to work to include the curves in the Teague and a fast stroll down I-20 and a 360 at 220. Love the curves with the RX8.

I think that I couple friends in that area. have you ever seen the kids out at sheve city?

I've seen the "kids" in Shreve City. Not much on the evening parking lot meets. I guess the keyword was "kids".

Not sure about attending the BBQ in Arlington in September. I do plan to check out SCCA at Red River Raceway on August 7th.

There's SCCA Solo going on the same weekend as the BBQ in the same city.... :D

I've been lurking the forum for a while now, however, I guess I don't check the regional forum as often as I should. I've just been discouraged by the lack of 8's in the new orleans area. Most of the discussions pertain to Texas. Velocity Blitz, I live near the Lakefront in Gentilly Terrace in between Franklin Ave. and Elysian Fields Ave. How about you? We should meet up on the Lakefront one weekend.

Seriously, until this past month, there have been .5 8 owners in the New Orleans area. Please don't take offense, but I don't think you're going to get this many (45 cars/70 people and counting) rotary enthusiasts in your area anytime soon.

Came home last night, and my 3 year old dauther had drawn all over the coloring book "RX8"... She brought it to me this morning to show me!

Just got my 8 yesterday at Paretti Mazda. Not sure if any of the other 8 owners out there have returned to the New Orleans area. I've only seen one Titanium 8 on the road here in Metairie lately!

As a sidenote...did anyone else find it hard to break in this car the "right" way? I can't wait to get a couple thousand miles on it so I can see what it can REALLY do!!! :ylsuper:

I've spotted a couple 8's in Metairie this week! One white one that looked like a base package (couldn't tell) and another tonight that looked like a VR GT w/ Appearance and Rotary Packages. Both were on Veterans Memorial Blvd. Just wondering if either of them come on the board. If you do just drop a post to say hi.

mines a whitewater pearl with clear corners and has texas plates. and also a slight scrape on the rear right corner of my back bumper because of my negligence of parking it at walmart......still hurts me everytime i see it. hahah

I'm in Monroe, which is an hour and 1/2 east of Shreveport. We should all try to get together for a "meet & greet" sometime.
