Icelink and MP3 in-dash?

Icelink and MP3 in-dash?
So I spent the money on the Icelink to get my iPod integrated, but I'm really not happy with the way the Icelink works. I want to get the in-dash MP3 cd player, but I'm wondering if the Icelink will still work with it? Does anybody have both? Thanks!
