I got this pictures on july 13, in DAIKOKU-Parking area.
Almost all owner is a usual "R3" member.
but there was also owner equipped with the new item.

I notice at least 3 of the cars have no front badge. I'm thinking of de-badging my (soon to own) black 8, leaving only the RX-8 on the back.

Do you know if the badges are glued on or on posts? How hard was is it to get them off (without marring the paint)?

Is it the mark of Mazda Motor?
Since these are the fronts of the Mazda Speed kit, it is not attached the mark of Mazda Motor from the first.

but In the normal front, the hole for attaching a mark is open.

Eastmoon, did u change your tires or you use white paint to color the lettering (Bridgestone/Potenza) on them?

I used a product called "Touch-Up-Pen" for my tires lettering.
and I changed the tire, when exchanging wheels.
That is "Potenza G3"

Yes, I meant the "mark". I didn't realize the Mazdaspeed kit replaced the entire front piece (actually, I didn't even notice that it was Mazdaspeed.)

Thanks for the info -- too bad about the holes in the standard nose piece, I think it looks very good without the badge, but I wouldn't want to have holes showing.

east moon,those cars look great.the rear spoilers on some of the cars are great.are they what came with the car in japan or are they mazda speed?i did not order the factory spoiler in hopes to find a good aftermarket one and that is the best one ive seen.:)

They are all the Mazda speeds rear spoilers .

Look at the third pic of the silver 8. Compare it to the red one below, notice that the rims have been swapped around. I like the original config better.

The red really looks a treat. IMHO the MS kit looks so much better without the wing. Gives it a really sinister look.

Oh... and do you have a pix of the red car from the front? i wonder how it would look like wiv those eyebrows on...

The kits come painted. You have to specify the colour when ordering...

Very nice. I really like the Mazdaspeed front. Definitely need side skirts though IMHO. As you can see, it looks kinda weird when you compare the silver car with the red one side by side.

They eyebrows are AWESOME and you can BARELY tell it is a seperate piece. I kept trying to figure why it looked so mean! :)

i like the MS body kit although it doesn't seem right with those little fog lights in there...i'd probably keep them empty...and with that kit you definitely need the wing to add to the back...otherwise it just looks like it's missing something...the side already looks like it's missing the side skirts

Eastmoon: did you check what's under the hood of those car? Any aftermarket parts yet? i saw some gauges install on one of the car, and i wonder if any have a turbo or supercharger... hehehe ;)

Japan always gets the nicer version. Those cars are amazing. The ones in North America are nothing like that

dude, they're the same... they have MazdaSpeed bodykits, that's all.

And oh yah cuz they get the option white. If Toronto had the white one i'd trade my RSX - S for a second to get one.

if colors that important, more than the car itself, why not get it painted (espeically if you're going to kit it)?? :confused:

colour shouldn't stand in your way of getting the car you want: it's my opinion that almost any car can look good in almost any color, whereas black looks best on anything ;)

edit:just saw your title... it's not available yet, but there are guys in the 'states working to make replicas which probably will be available here... so yes, in time, for sure it will.

one observation about the production mazdaspeed kit, which i love. the black wing-like thing/strake piece/spoiler at the bottom of the front bumper, that flares up like an airplane wing right in front of the wheelwell, is not in the production body kit. that's somewhat disappointing 'cuz i really liked that. reminds me of the front spoiler of the fd.

is the mazdaspeed wing adjustable? seems like it does
